I like to combine design with vintage

I would describe my style as Romantic Modern; I like to combine design products with vintage / second-hand stuff. The basis of our house is white with pastels. Design makes it modern, vintage makes it cool and a bit different, the pastels make it sweet and romantic.

Rituals before going to bed

After Peppe has been in bath, he always gets a small hand and foot massage, which he always enjoys enormously. Then he can pick a book from his closet. We always read 1 book and then he puts the book back in the closet again. Just pull the string of the music box and both dad and mom give a big hug. Then we sing a song and the lights go out and the eyes close.

Wonderful to keep changing

With interior styling I can fully indulge, during styling I can give my own twist to my interior. Great to keep changing and to come up with new ideas every time.

Styling tips

Give your interior a personal touch. I think it's a must to buy some old furniture and possibly to refurbish them, next to the standard items that are sold in the stores. I also often use a paint brush to breathe new life into old things. A red wooden mirror? A blue wooden chair? Everything can be restyled. Nothing is too crazy!
