Do you deliver internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide.

Are all prices including VAT?

For EU countries all prices listed on the website of Studio Ditte are inclusive of VAT. Prices will be without VAT for countries outside EU (incl. UK).

What are the shipping costs?

Free shipping from € 50 (only within NL + BE)
For the Netherlands and Belgium no shipping costs are charged for an order from € 50

DELIVERY

What is the delivery time?

Our products are carefully packaged and shipped worldwide. Normally, we ship within 1-3 business days. At the moment unfortunately it takes longer than usual to send your order. This is due to the busy period as well as the limited staffing at the warehousing and shipping companies because of the corona measures.

With which company will my order be sent?

Within the Netherlands, most orders are sent by DHL parcel. Orders to Belgium will be shipped with Bpost or DPD. We do not have a regular carrier for other countries, that depends on the weight and size of the package.

What happens when I'm not home when my order is delivered?

When the driver can’t deliver the package to you, the driver will try to deliver to the neighbors. If the package can’t be delivered to the neighbors, you will find a card in the mailbox about the delivery.

Can my package be delivered to another address?

You can also deliver your order to another address, for example at work or at the address of the one you want to surprise. You can enter a different delivery address when choosing your payment method. There you can select that billing and shipping addresses are not the same.

Can I follow my package?

At the moment we ship your package, you will receive an e-mail with a track & trace code. This allows you to track the shipping status online. It is possible that this link will work from the next day.

Can I pick up my order?

No, it is not possible to pick up your order.

RETURNS

How can I return my order?

You can inform us within 14 days of receipt that you want to return your products. Then, you have 14 days to return it. Returns are only free of charge within the Netherlands. From other countries it is possible to return products at your own expense.

Return address
You will receive a confirmation with a return address.

Package well
It is important that the products are returned undamaged and in its original packaging. Remember to delete old labels and keep the shipping receipt well after you have sent the package.

Refund the purchase
Once we have received the products in good order, we will refund the purchase amount within 5 business days.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Can I receive a wallpaper sample?

Do you want to order wallpaper, but would you like to see it first? Ask for a wallpaper sample here. We will send you a sample free of charge so that you can view the wallpaper and possibly look for a nice matching color.

What should I do if my ordered product is damaged?

Send images
Send an e-mail to mail@studioditte.com with images of the damage and mention the order number.

New product
We will review the complaint and respond as soon as possible. If we ask to return the damaged product we take into account the cost of the shipment. We will send you a new copy.

I'm not satisfied with the product? Can I exchange it?

You inform us know that you want to return your products to us within 14 days of receipt. Then, you have 14 days to return it. Returns are only free of charge within the Netherlands. From other countries it is possible to return products at your own expense.

WALLPAPER

What is the quality of the Studio Ditte wallpaper?

Non woven wallpaper
The wallpaper is a high quality non-woven wallpaper. The FSC certified fabric is very strong, colorfast and washable with water. A big advantage is that the wallpaper is easy to apply on the wall. You smear the wall with glue and then put the wallpaper on the wall. So you do not need a wallpaper table! The wallpaper is also easy to remove again.

Digital printed
The wallpaper is digitally printed. The prints are sharp and full color. The width of the Studio Ditte wallpaper is different from traditional wallpaper. The digital printer determines the width of 48.5 cm of the strips of wallpaper.

Is the Studio Ditte wallpaper sustainable?

The wallpaper material is made of non woven, this is not paper. This material contains FSC-certified pulp and a polyester fiber. These fibers together make the wallpaper strong and of good quality. It complies with the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 norm. The wallpaper is washable with water like vinyl wallpaper, but free from formaldehyde and other volatile substances that can be harmful.

The toner with which is printed is produced CO2-free. The toner is even food approved and may have immediate food contact.

Interesting to know is that a large part of our producer's location is heated with the residual heat of the wallpaper production. And the waste paper is returned to the paper factory, it's a closed loop.

What does the batch number on the roll mean?

Some rolls of wallpaper from the Studio Ditte collection have a batch number. The batch number can be found on the label. Check if the rolls have the same batch number. This to prevent small color differences between the rolls.

What wallpaper glue should I use?

Glue for non-woven wallpaper, preferably use ready-made.

Moisture can cause the wallpaper to shrink a little bit. This allows open seams between the strips of wallpaper when the glue has dried

How do I put Studio Ditte wallpaper on my wall?

Batch number
Some rolls of wallpaper from the Studio Ditte collection have a batch number. The batch number can be found on the label. Check if the rolls have the same batch number. This to prevent small color differences between the rolls.

Advice for wallpaper with colored background
Have you ordered wallpaper with a white background? Then the print runs in the length of the wallpaper roll and you do not have to take into account in which order you apply the strips on the wall. 

If the wallpaper has a background color*, then the roll consists of 2 separate strips of wallpaper. The reason for this is that one strip of wallpaper is printed upside down compared to the other strip. This is done to prevent color lapse in the background. A technical story, but why do we tell you this? Because there is a small gradient in the background, it is good to take into account the order of the strips when you apply them on the wall. Always start with strip 1 and apply strip 2 and repeat this if you have more than one roll.

*Race car wallpaper dark, birdhouse, buttons, ribbons and vintage scraps wallpaper.

You need
- Glue for non-woven wallpaper (preferably use ready-made)
- Glue roller and wallpaper brush
- Seam roller
- Wallpaper ruler
- Boxcutter
- Soft cloth

Step 1
Preferably use ready-made wallpaper glue for non-woven wallpaper. It is important that the wallpaper glue does not contain too much moisture. And make sure you do not use too much glue. Moisture can cause the wallpaper to shrink a little bit. This allows open seams between the strips of wallpaper when the glue has dried.

Apply glue on the wall with a roller. Use a wallpaper brush to apply glue in the corners where the wall meets the ceiling or floor. Apply approx. 15 cm more glue than the width of one strip of wallpaper.

Step 2
Apply the wallpaper directly to the wall. Start by applying the wallpaper from the top, and leave the rest of the strip hanging freely. Make sure you leave some extra wallpaper at the top and bottom, so you can cut it away later. Check if the wallpaper hangs down in a straight line, and aligns well with the previous strip. The strips must be glued tightly together. Use a soft cloth to smooth the wallpaper. Press the strips from the middle to the sides, and from top to bottom. You can use a seam roller for pressing the seams.

Step 3
Cut the wallpaper along the edges of the ceiling, plinths, door and window frames. This is best done with a wallpaper ruler and a boxcutter. Wipe all remainders of glue from the wallpaper with a damp cloth, before the glue dries.

BEDDING

From what material are the duvet covers made of?

The duvet covers are made of 100% high quality white and soft cotton.

The prints on the bedding are digitally printed. The pillow cases have a print on the front and back. The duvet cover has a white backside without print.

What is the best way to wash the duvet covers?

Washing the first time
Always wash the new duvet cover before putting on your bed the first time. This is important because after washing, the cotton will absorb moisture better. Besides, the bedding usually smells a bit chemical through to the production process. Wash the cover at 30 °C the first time.

Oh, what not to do is leaving your bedding in water overnight. Than the duvet cover could leak colors. It's best to wash your child's bedding every other week and in warm summer months every week.

Washing tips for bedding
- Turn the duvet cover and the pillow case inside out.
- Do not put the washing machine too full.
- Use liquid detergent, preferably as little as possible. Washing powder can leave white spots.
- Wash at max. 40 °C, preferably on an anti-crease delicate program. Note: Wash at 30 °C for the first time.
- Remove the wet bedding directly from the washing machine to prevent leaking colors.
- Preferably dry the bedding on the washing line. It’s good for the bedding, and better for the environment. Turn the cover and the pillow inside out to avoid the colors fading through the sun.
- If you do put the bedding in the dryer, use a low temperature and anti-crease program. Also, turn the covers inside out.

How is a duvet cover packed?

The duvet cover is neatly folded in a transparent plastic cover together with a cardboard inlay. On the inlay is a beautiful big picture of the cover.
